Welcome to the Ascot Vale Superules Football Club
Our club has been running for almost two decades in various forms and has achieved much in its history.
Recognising that a love of football is sometimes not enough to field a competitive team every second week, we go to great lengths to ensure that families are welcome at the club. For example on match day, we always ensure the kids have access to a jumping castle, movies on the bigscreen inside the clubrooms and we have an adventure playground right next to the pavillion.
Our club facilities are second to none, with a complete refurbishment of the pavilion finalised less than two years ago. This means our clubrooms are the perfect environment for match day with our full glass walled viewing area. Or if the weather is right, out on the seated terraces taking in the sunshine and the match.
We have a number of reputable sponsors involved with the club and we encourage all players and supporters to review the range of services the Committee has assembled for the general well being of the club and its members.
Fielding two teams (Supers and Masters for over 40’s) in Division One of the Victorian Metropolitan League, the Ascot Vale Panthers welcomes players aged 35 and over who are still keen to pull on the boots and enjoy the camaraderie that the club offers.
AFL legend Tony Liberatore coaches the club and shares his vast expereince of football twice a week leading into a match and once a week in the week following a match.
Situated in Walter Street Ascot Vale, training begins at 6pm every Thursday night, with game day every second Sunday. Whilst we dont expect any of our players to be drafted to the AFL anytime soon, we do believe that super rules football provides valuable opportunities to men aged 35 and over to continue to make a contribution.
Everyone is equal at Ascot Vale. Bring your families, bring your friends – enjoy our hospitality and get rewarded for being part of Ascot vale Supers – a true community club.
